WE WILL NEED TEAMS TO PLAY ON THE DAY - SO START FORMING CLIQUES LIKE GOOD LITTLE CRICKETERS... TEAMS WILL BE SIX A SIDE, THIS IS A MIXED COMPETITION - GIRLS ARE VERY MUCH ALOUD.

FINISH: ANYBODY'S GUESS.
THERE WILL BE A CONTRIBUTION TAKEN ON THE GATE, FOOD AND DRINK WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BUY AT THE GROUND. (AND YES THAT INCLUDES PROPER CIDER...)

I wish I had been able to attend this. I am aghast that I have not yet posted my very precious pictures and thoughts of Michela and Sam yet on this website, and on logging in this evening, I am so delighted to see something that would have made them so happy as the 'Butterfield Emmett Cricket Festival 2008'. I am sorry I wasnt there to enjoy it, but I was building a tree house with my step children in Italy so it just wasn't physically possible. I still can't believe they have both gone, I miss the two joyous spirits. I am rubbish at keeping in touch but I think of both the Emmett and Butterfield families often. I hope you are all ok.
